Community Halloween Party December --
New Years Eve Dinner & Dance. STEUBEN CULTURAL COMMITTEE YEAR END SUMMARY The Cultural Advisory Committee promotes community spirit in the Town of Steuben. They have a wonderful Community Halloween Party with games for the children and usually a hay ride. In December they have a New Year's Eve Dinner and Dance. The Halloween Party was once again a huge success. Had many different games and activities for the kids. The Annual New Years Eve Dinner Dance was once again well attended with a good mix of young and old alike. Suggestions for music is always welcome. A few ideas that have been mentioned; for future goals for the Cultural Advisory Committee. 1. A black top basketball court in the parking lot. 2. Developing a youth Center at the Town Hall. 3. Updating the Showcase. 4. Winter activities; Valentine's Party a. Possibly looking into a grant to build a hockey arena for surrounding communities and schools! b. The Steuben Challenge c. Line and Square Dance lessons. 5. Grant Writing for our projects. I am always looking for volunteers and input for these activities. I would really like each of these projects to have its own chair to oversee and generate new interest. Thank you for all the help at these events and the people that helped to make it happen.
