Dan is a lifelong resident of the town of Steuben. Over a period of twenty five years, Dan served as town Justice, a member of the planning board and town councilman.
The Supervisor acts as treasurer and is responsible for the town's finances. The Supervisor signs contracts, manages the banking, assures that town bills are paid and manages the daily business of the town. The Supervisor sets goals for the town as well as presiding over town board meetings.
The Town Supervisor serves as budget officer for the Town, preparing the budget to present to the Board for adoption.
